September 2008.

has had some processing in PP, I used the Soft light blend mode to blend 2 identical layers.

Dang, that is MINT. What sort of shutter speed is that? Because it must be awhile.

And do you take 2 photos from the same position and then blend them together? Thats how I read how you explained it. (Dang thats bad grammar  )

And the low whistle is at the coolness of the photos. So super cool.

Got it, 6 minutes.

But still, how'd you do it? :p

Thanks :)

no realt trick, long long exposures at ISO 100 with a full moon high in the sky. So lots of long late nights standing on cliff tops... I would probably take 15-20 photos of various lengths, usually around 3 + minutes, Out of that I will get 1 or 2 decent ones. cable release and a tripod are essential !

The layers thing is not with 2 images, I just layer copy the base layer and change the blend mode to soft light. This gives it the photo a bit more "oomph" - in my opion of course !

Close encounter with a spider. The front legs were resting on the lens.
(Scanned from a slide, so the quality isn't great.)
