I figured this was the approach, but couldn't get the angle I was after without looking into it. Well, would've if I'd had time to wait, but it was a ride not a photoshoot!

Cheers

Could someone with a canon lithium ion battery with a voltmeter please test the voltage of their battery when it is fully depleted, oh and maybe state the battery type or voltage on battery. I'm guessing 0 volts but want to be sure. Cheers

Shouldn't be 0V the camera should stop working well before the battery is completely drained. I'd say 1 to 2V at a guess.
If it reads 0V your battery is prolly nackered.

At Waipukurau airfeild at a gliding course thingy i went to.

Glider (twin astir) is on finals approach and tow plane (pawnee) is on short finals.

The orange is the outcome or too much time waiting for gliders to return :D
