Keen to see the mythical 5D replacement, not that I can ever afford one, or even a used current 5D.

Avantibill - you are right, DSLSR photography makes competetive mtbing look cheap.... Like mtb there is always more stuff to buy, and I am not into bling either.

You need to really want a DSLR to make the investment worthwhile, the quality of your basic image is no better (and possibly worse) than a decent P and S. But it is more fun...

the Canon 1000 is looking interesting.

i love the fence up there the plant vegataion on one side becuse of the wind and wind side very smooth from abrasion

(theres another couple of shots from up there further back in here)
