1 hand held 30 second exposure.
the other is a 3 half minute exposure.
I'm loving the first one. Sorry, but I'm not one of the lovers of fuzzy impressionist.

yep 400d - Only the kit lens sadly, the 18-55. it is starting to get real sloppy and is a sod to focus, one day I will have enough money to buy a new lens. But i have damaged the autofocus as well so evyerthing is now manual, so it could be a 40d as well as a new lens, and a heavier tripod, mine is a bit light for 216 second night shots - also need spare battery, a second CF card and more disk space on my computer....

Sounds like an outlay of $$$. I would like to invest in a dSLR, but I can see by the time you buy extra lenses, filters and other accessories, the cost of it would be more than enough to equal a deposit on a modest house
