I am reducing my collection of 4 bikes to 2, a commuter and a do everything bike. While the Bullit was a do everything sort of bike it was a tad heavy

I'm loving the first one. Sorry, but I'm not one of the lovers of fuzzy impressionist.

Damn luddites :)

yep 400d - Only the kit lens sadly, the 18-55. it is starting to get real sloppy and is a sod to focus, one day I will have enough money to buy a new lens. But i have damaged the autofocus as well so evyerthing is now manual, so it could be a 40d as well as a new lens, and a heavier tripod, mine is a bit light for 216 second night shots - also need spare battery, a second CF card and more disk space on my computer....

Sounds like an outlay of $$$. I would like to invest in a dSLR, but I can see by the time you buy extra lenses, filters and other accessories, the cost of it would be more than enough to equal a deposit on a modest house

Photo of son couple years back fishing on Okataina (he had a fish on) as the sunset.
And a photo of a guy that fishes there as often as I do (when not riding)

last time i looked a new Nikon D80 is about $1300 (body) or $1800 with a 18-135mm lens.

not sure about a D70s.. havent seen a 2nd hand one for a while, but then i havent been looking.
