I actually got back on a horse for the first time back in November (4 months post-squash). And I've ridden a couple of times since then, even some trackwork.

But for the first time since my accident, I've been able to make the conscious decision to go back to riding racehorses on a regular basis. Yay for PTSD :paranoid:

Yay you

Bicycles can ride for free on Wellington trains
The Dominion Post | Thursday, 15 May 2008

Bicycles will be allowed on Wellington trains for free from July 1 in a bid to encourage people to use public transport.

At present cyclists pay the price of an adult fare, up to a maximum of $4, to take their bikes on the train.

Peter Glensor, the chairman of Greater Wellington regional council's transport and access committee, said a survey of cyclists found they were discouraged from using trains because of the extra charge for a bike.

If there was no space on the train, however, bikes would not be allowed.

The council would also investigate equipping the new Wairarapa trains with upright racks or hooks in the roof, to better transport bikes.

:pmob: Awesome work on the Trains.

W00t for having 2 working days left before an 8 week holiday (incl. 4 weeks of biking). Unfortunately those 2 days are in Invercargill and I will need to pull an all nighter to get organised to go on Friday.
