Don't remember what my "F" was. If I was in a better area Most of my photos had the cars coming from light into heavy shadowOblivian wrote: F2.8 (or as high as you can) + manual focus = fences disappear.
Also helps (with SLR) to keep panning after you know the shutter has gone. Its that split second when you cant see through the mirror that it takes it. I use to slow down/stall when I heard the click, but it makes for FAIL pictures. I now keep panning even after lifting the finger.
