I've got my art teachers old school film camera for the holidays! I can't wait to give it a try. Should be good, everything is manual on it! Worth about 4 grand  ...

Also helps (with SLR) to keep panning after you know the shutter has gone. Its that split second when you cant see through the mirror that it takes it. I use to slow down/stall when I heard the click, but it makes for FAIL pictures. I now keep panning even after lifting the finger.
Don't remember what my "F" was. If I was in a better area Most of my photos had the cars coming from light into heavy shadow :( So I was leaving it on auto for that and I was to lazy to use manual :paranoid:

Fence wouldn't disappear I wasn't close enough to it for that, 2metres at least. To zoom in past it would only see about half the car in the shot :(

Aww well, theres always next year to play :)

I never use to shoot cars, but after going to a couple of club days have been able to play quite a bit.

That pic of the lola, althought no processed much so it looks rather bland.. was from about 1.5-2m behind a fence. But shutter was so slow you cant see it rushing past. You can make out the top wire only if you look hard ;)

Thanks peeps :)

yeah the sensor problaly does need a clean now, it has had a rough year... those spots were a bit of spray on the UV filter and I never noticed those ones until now.... There were some on the top that stood out like dogs bollocks, funny how you (or maybe just I) never notice things on your own photo until some else points it out :)
