The dSLRs certainly show the limitations on my camera, as the biggest let down on my camera is a smallish CCD which tends to show up the noise.

I also wish I had more imagination when composing some of the pics, as over the last 2 or 3 pages, there have been some real crackers

I would early like to get some more lenses for my 400d, stuck with the kit and the nifty 50, with plans to sell stuff so I can upgrade.

Will keep the body till I can afford a 5d.

So you have a 50mm F/1.8? How do you find it?

I flipping love mine for a portrait lens... its fast and tiny!

for a $170 lens it is the schizzle. it is really fast to focus and works well in low light, I bought it for using at gigs.

Using it at f1.8 you DOF is pretty short and sometimes it is a challenge compositionally using a fixed focal length lens.

It feels really cheap and makes a hell of a noise when it is focusing but it does take really good pictures.

Like BF I highly recomend it Vert.

Yeppa - for the price it cannot be beat. Would pay 300 for the thing no worries.

2 examples of random just quick shots - quality slightly reduced to be on facebook.
