I retained my Queen of the Muppets title today.

Rapaki, Witch Hill, Castle Hill, John Britten Reserve, Greenwood Park, Capt Thomas.

Bashed my ankle containing screws into my crank when hitting a rock on Witch Hill. Pretty much metal on metal there
Fell down the bank when gears slipped whilst trying to pedal over a rock on Greenwood.

Mong durr!

Ours was mint, loving the new bike......higher BB than the GT so it clears the rocks, let a bit of air out of the forks so that it keeps the front end down on climbs, and now its awesome.

Steamed down mt vic a few times then went to makara and did ridgeline/swigg/starfish to the carpark, back up koru to the skills area and steamed down livewires

Ridgeline is ridiculous on a DH bike

A note to people that ride at mt vic, on the track that comes out down the chutes at the pirie st playground, some nusfaces have blocked off the path to the far left hand chute looking from the top (ie the one that's not steep enough to really be considered a chute, the one that comes out by the sign, not the one that comes out by the basketball hoop) with some big branches that they've wedged between two trees and smashed bottles everywhere, I tried to move the branches but some are wedged in there real good and I'm not tall enough to move them. Someone might wanna take a small folding saw up there or some shit and chop them up. I would but the one on my pocket knife isn't really big enough. I dunno how long it's been there cos I don't ride that exit very often, usually the one that comes out on the other side of the road. But yeah don't go steaming down into it lest you be stopped very quickly by some branches

Did you wear all your armour for Rapaki

I did a mad huck to pinecone on Mt Vic, made the most horrible noise, though I'd broken my bike at first
