Had a bloody great ride at Taupo today. Did the Te totara track out to the Prawn Farm. Then back to the road underpass, up Inwards goods, rode most of Tourist Trap, then took the Rotary ride track into town, up to Spa Park, and then the main track out to Huka Falls.
I am so unused to riding with gears, I snapped my Duraace/XTR chain after a useless down-shift to the granny. Very enjoyable though.
