My "new" SS, aka fun with old bits from the back of the shed...wheels are early Hope hubs (circa 1994) for a screw-on freewheel, Gusto swapped the axel round, re-spaced and re-dished the wheel. Sweeeet.

Early Magura rim brakes (pre quick-release!), I reckon those Onza bar ends are from at least 1990 and the obligatory Ringle skewers. If anyone has Onza porcupine or Panaracer Smoke tyres to complete the look let me know :D

True. Cranks, forks, bars and stem are only about 5 years old...rear QR is just one that Gus had lying around, but I have the matching Ringle.

I just couldn't face the fat old Gel Turbo saddle, that Fizik looks much better with the skinny steel tubes. ;)
