Headed up to Snakes and Ladder's with the OUMBC crew. Had a good ride around there, finally hit the rock-ladder-rock-ladder stunt, and then some new skinnies and the duck pond gap, before giving G a help out with a little building.

All in all a good ride on an OK Dunedin day

Inside an old building where, years ago, they used to smelt silver and lead... love finding random riding spots in the middle of nowhere!

Sunday,
went to ride Fosters Clearing with 2 mates...spent 30
minutes doing "bush mechanics" on hope brake pad springs on buddies bike...fixed sort of.

Rode to Fosters Clearing... beautiful morning...turned round for descent...buddies new Speccy Enduro Flatted twice in five minutes...

general consensus is that Specc tubes are paper thin, and wont run under 35lb without flatting...

apart from that good fun, coming down!! :) :)

Hey PBR, I thought you were going to post -said new bike- up on the rides thread. Or is there not enough bling on there yet to keep your reputation up on vorb :p

Saturday, a good blast around Makara, Swigg, Starfish, Koru, Salley Alley, Missing Link, Leaping Lizard, Nikau, Aratihi, Zacs, Vertigo, up the road to Wahine.

Sunday, Salvation, around the Sanctuary, over to Red Rocks and back home.

And it was sunny (most of the time!)

Nice one Colin!

I rode up Rapaki, Crater rim track round to the Bridle path, then back round the Crater rim to Vic park, down Gums, Dazza's,Brents, back up to the 4WD track, down to Texco jump/second skidder site, down the wee track through the fence behind the jump, down the new bit of Nats into Double drop, and back to Rapaki via Fava for coffee and muff-in. :)
I was broken on Sunday!
Need to do that more often, au!

From the top of Wrights Hill going right after the parade ground takes you around the fenceline to the windmill, going the other way its best to go Scout hall then goldmine.
