27 but I've enough stock of 8 speed gear for a couple of bikes.

Will have to find some more friction shifters though.

(Atually I have to say the 9 speed X0 was very smooth)

I rode a lazy ride @ Riverhead... twas good. Then flew back to WLG tonight. Nice weekend away. Diving and Biking....

I dun gone ride Naseby with Vinnie and Psych.
Very, very hot.
Had lunch at the Royal Hotel. Did some fun riding, and only one stupid over the bars crash (silly bog...).
Then we finished with a paddle / swim (if you're frogman Vinnie) in the pond.

I did a lap off Mt Vic
then crused of a had look at Karatane (sp?)
Rode up & down a few tracks over there, took a few wrong ones also but guess you get that first time there? No I didn't hit any of the jumps! not the sort of thing you do on a XC bike when you get the grief I get for wreaking my bike without hitting things like them

well it wasnt today... im just show at posting .... but I rode the r&r course at riverhead on sunday ... my first race!! I didn't plan to do anything but finish ... came about halfway thru the placings for the short course though. Awesome ride, feel the bruises! haha

My self and my partner went for a ride up along the top of the tararua's (north range road) and went and had a look up close at some of the wind farm along the way

didnt ride but went exploring around from lake ferry

I went for another silly road ride.

and while I was out work rang to ask if I'd like to come in, and by the time I got home there was no point going in. grrr


Might go for a dh in the next couple of days so I can strip down and rebuild the dher before I go back next week.

I have to go try some on and decide between bell slant or giro encinal cos I havent been in for a few weeks and he wasnt there then anyway. today was my first day off in over 2 weeks!
