I used to be a big fan of the one day throw away contacts (pre LASIK) used to always have some chucked in my various skiing, kayaking, riding, diving bags....

I gotta get me down the South Island - just saw Fergs and Slims thread. According to the Kennett bros book, a lot of those S.I. rides have wickedly high climbs (Old man range springs to mind)

I was supposed to go filming with jumpmtb today (as i have a broken collar bone)but i pulled out but i have just recieved a txt saying he is in hospital with a suspected broken jaw!And O yes he was riding up mt vic.

Talked to Tryfan today, they are having themselves a great time. Were heading down the west coast today. :)

As for my ride today headed off towards Eastbourne, but only got as far as the Hutt river mouth, not over the cold yet :(
