Where Did You Ride Today?

Rode the tracks I've been helping to build, they were sweet, especially these latest switchback that we finished yesterday, we absolutely nailed the design of it!

Also did a bit of bush bashing looking for the route of one of our future trails. Got a bit of gorse rash for my troubles...

after a brief ride in the "Freeride" part of castlerock we the missus and I went through to craters of teh moon in taupo, rode up tp the top then took buzzard and a few other tracks back to the helicopter. Thoroughly enjoyed it there, the tracks are different from what I'm used to riding in welly... the fantastic weather was a bonus :thumbsup:

Went up Makara and had a gese at the skills area and then couldn't be stuffed hauling a 36 pound bike to the summit, so settled for lower ridgeline, then back to skills and then suprisingly, down Koru which is quite fun backwards as it's basically all down hill.

Makara peak: Appetiser of singletrack and Nikau, then Zacs to Vertigo for the main course....up St albans....desert was SWIGG & starfish.

Sooooo good despite offing on vertigo

Went out to do some rock gardening, then Colin showed us this lovely bush railway. The rails were even still there in places.

Im saving myself for me and my mates Boxing Day Biking Bonanza, should be a mint days riding aslong as the weather stays nice.

I went for a sift in vegas today.

Rode "K2"....i can now understand why it was so overgrown! Soooooo slippery, rooty and steep as holy hell!

Had a sift on the usual trails too, Hot x Buns and Be rude not to etc :thumbsup:
