Most brake cable inners are 1700mm in length, Anyone know where I can get one that's slightly longer?
I'm after one that's around 1900mm for a tandem

SR Suntour XCR forks, 5 years old, no maintenance, lived in Sumatra. Volcanic dust I guess.

Top seals have both popped out and now sit further up the leg. Heaps of play, improved if the seals are reinserted. Owner couldn't get the seals to stay in.
Is it worth replacing the sliders and seals or could the magnesium lowers or whatever be stuffed too?

In the workshop manual it looks simple to fit new sliders and seals on the kitchen table using just hex keys, sockets and the salad tongs - is that misleading?
I'm quite happy to remain clueless about sus forks, and he will be able to afford a LBS before long. :)

If I had a fox fork which was on a brand new bike I purchased a few weeks ago and it was toast and needed to be sent away for servicing is it likely to come back to me in mint condition? Just wondering. Thanks peeps.
