Cruisers underway now, just finished round 1, lots of firsts for the kiwis. So far 7 kiwi world Champs I think.

Wow, that was some mean racing.
No luck for Kurt Pickard, Marc Willers and Trent Jones, all hitting the deck hard in their heats.
Just read that Trent is recovering with a collapsed lung and cracked ribs

Gotta love BMX though. 35sec of flat-outness. Whaaaa!!

Saw one of the Dutch riders walking away with his Crabon Haro snapped in 2 pieces ofter a 1st corner prang :crazy:
