Over Summer (21/10/08 - 17/03/09) the Wainuiomata Trail Project will be running summer evening working bees each week on a Tuesday evening. They will start at 6:00pm and go until dusk. Keep an eye out on replies to this thread for details of the current weeks planned activity and meeting place and for cancellations. You can also contact me on (021) 996-345 to check.

Well, Jules and I got a bit of track, including one rather interesting corner done. It's not a switchback, but given the extra curves in and out of the corner I think it will be a lot of fun to ride. Hope we've got the shape right...

I turned up at about 6:15 last night and spent a half hour looking for you guys. Which end are you building from?

Basically you go to the large open area at the end of Beeline/wetland loop and head up the track towards the motoX circle and take the 2nd 4wd track on the right. Before heading up the hill you will see a single track turn of to the left beside a boggy old 4wd track.

If that is confusing maybe this map may help.

definitely, I've reserved Wednesday night for rides if that suits you/dave/whomever. I'm gonna post a thread about a lowry ride up soon. When does last PNP take place?
