The dig is actually the 11th of October.

Not, the 11th of September as previously stated.

You've been living in a bit of a time warp recently haven't you :D

There's been a rift in the time space continuum.

Either that or the senility is worse than I thought.

Cheers to those who dug today, I will say sorry now due to the fact that Snail's is going to be the most ironic name this trail could have. Some sections are going to be, well a little bit faster than expected. :eh:

Man, we created some sweet track today :D

Also, to those with the skills and inclination, Sean McMillan's exit is now an option ;)

Yeah, some of us did read their book, our style really is keep the trail moving be it up, down, left, right or all of these at once, try to minimize brake damage and real important one is to make sure water sheets of regular with the frequent use of grade reversals. Then its down to the diggers and how they interpret the lay of the land to what they want that one section to look like.

I've Got to say, Jim's gone a got himself a job that means he won't be available weekends in a short time (congratulations on the job Jim!).

It would be rather nice if we could get this trail through before he starts as I'm sure it would help the poor bugger sleep better at night! There isn't that far to go now so if you can come along for either of the next couple of digs it would be appreciated.

I couldn't help myself this morning, just had to go up there and do some tinkering as I had a few hours spare. The trail is going to be a stunner :)

Yeah, saw a lovely lady up there with her little boy, she had two big sticks to keep him in line :o

By the looks of the dodgy little fella, should of had him on a leash too :p

But seriously, the trail is multi use so everyone riding it should watch for other users...
