Wtd: 26" Front And Rear For Hardtail (9/10spd)

Postby Rion on Mon 11/Apr/16 9:59am

Looking for some wheels for my steel hardtail. 26" Front and Rear - 9/10Spd. I'm in Wellington. Stans would be nice, or DMR, XT etc. What's out there?

I have some nice 26" wheels about to come off a bike, Stans Arch (running tubeless) on Chris King hubs, currently 15mm front and 135mm QR rear but you can change them to pretty much anything. In Wellington if you want to check them out.

I like the words but I don't think I'll like the price. What $$$ we talking here?

Yes, they are nice but I'm hoping for upwards of $500 for them (just measured and they are actually Flow rims). I do have Mavic 819 rims on DT Swiss 370 hubs if you are ok with 9mm QR front and 10mm QR rear. Probably have Hope hubs on DT Swiss (black, front wheel) and Mavic 819 (silver, rear wheel). Or real cheap Deore on Alex rims. Yes, I have too many wheels lying around. You could come and have a look if anything suits.

That is a lot of wheels! How much roughly are you wanting for each set?
