What's wierd is that Youtube has very strict content controls, yet it's not a restricted vid in their eyes.

I'd show my kids that video no problem, and they'd think it was really funny, so would their mates.

Or am I being to liberal in my thinking?

Not sure that i would encourage my children to go look that up - but it i doubt it would scar them for life to listen to it.

When you drive a carload of boys to a birthday party or sports game etc...these kinds of comments always come up, and it's funny.

I certainly spoke stupid like that as a kid. I'm not that retarded now, I think

the context is more important than the words. And the context of that video is harmless.

I'm all for moderation. But I sometimes see inconsistencies.

For example:

We can make derogaratory comments about women, gays etc which pass as humour (because mods think it's funny), but can't post a bum bum video because they don't think it's funny, or don't like "itsthatguy" ????

I live in the real world mate, I'm hardly going to kid myself with 'blindfolds' and impose religious doctrination on my kids. You oughta sit and listen to what kids talk about.

I do not endorse these things, but I feel discussing and understanding them is key.
My opinion is that kids and parents should be able to healthily discuss all things worldy. Which is what goes on in my house. Feel free to be ignorant of the real world, and of what your kids get up to (if you have any).

Thats probably why I hardly ever deleted anything when I was a a mod, many many moons ago, Im not easily offended and find a hell of a lot of stuff amusing!
I fact I think the only stuff I did delete was out and out abuse, which I dont find amusing.
