I've had two bikes stolen in Christchurch also.

Makes me wonder - where do they all go? Probably Australia as they steal all our stuff.

maybe your santa cruz was just pining for the fjords (or at least wellington harbour - isn't that where all santa cruz's belong?)

Well I suspect that's the last time she or many other elite athletes let any of their current high tech equipment out of their sight! Shame for the honest public... but to be honest I was surprised to read that anyone would agree to do that with something so important. Perhaps it is a requirement of her sponsorship agreements??

it was just the frame and the bars and few other bits but no wheels.... :(

At least wheels are a lot more easily replaced than custom bits made especially for her.
