I'll be heading up today. Theres about 15m still to go to complete the deviation. I might make the route a bit more obvious.

On the fence at the moment. Might drive up:)
There is a nice old 6ft demo bar at the Brooklyn galleria, but it is $60.00. Point on one end, chisel on other.

I have one of those crow bars but haven't tried using it on rock. Dont bother buying it.

Not about next week but made a little bit of progress yesterday.......

No, was not going to buy it. A bit over valued.
How did the dig go the other day? I chickened out in the end.

the best option for rock outside of an actual rockbreaker, Is a good sized sledge hammer ( I prefer a 12oz ) and a pick.
Where the demo bars are good is levering things, such as massive rocks outa the ground and helping to place them in position, or stumps etc.

Big effort over the weekend. The new deviation for Carparts is open and the the old route is closed. That old bit of track is going to be part of the Windmill track.

The new track is soft so take care. It'll be graveled soon-ish.

I'll be up there today. I plan to bury a couple of pipes for drains, widen the old bit of Carparts into the new Windmill standard and maybe tweak a couple of corners on the new Carparts deviation. All good.

The students being paid out of the Wgtn Marathon Clinic money are making good progress at the top of Windmill.

Theres been lots of progress in the last week. We've had 2 corporate volunteer days - ta Telecom and BNZ. I reckon that theres something less than 400m to go to join it all up. It should be a wonderful addition to the track network and hopefully will be all done by Xmas. WCC helped out heaps as well.

There also work continuing on Carparts and its soft in a few places. Gravel has been laid in the middle section and this will take a while to go hard. Perhaps avoid using this track for a couple of weeks.
