I did a bunch of sprinty laps for my mostly-non competetive work team. And a huck for watchy. I think that I might have caused someone to crash down the bottom of the downhill on my first night lap too - I called out an "on your right" pass just before the last corner, he moved a bit so I swung past, and then he moved a bit more and disappeared off the track. I felt momentarily bad about it, until I relised that for the most part I had been passing people on the outside (bank-side) of the track all day.

:D

At least you obliged my request for a huck, Monolith wouldn't even do a skid when we encouraged him...

I had a great day despite not going very fast - was good to meet some more people (those bushlovers seemed relatively normal when i wandered over in the morning, but as the day wound on some of the riding outfits got a touch more surreal :D )

Fair play for pumping out 15 minute laps all day though.

yea it was alot more enjoyable than i thought , our tortise and hare combo managed to get us a second place in our class (2 singles speeds with fast laps and a Dh rig slow with many laps)

Overall was...

R&R
Revolution Cycles
Searletech Mobile
Bushlove Slowpokes
On Yer Bike Mixed (I think).

The hot competition on the day was between Revolution and Searletech. Bushlove crew mixed it for a few hours but fell off the pace and were left hanging about 4-7mins down for the rest of the day.

A few pics in a blog post here..

We had a really good day out. Lucky with the weather, and despite the loose gravel on some descents, we didn't hear of anyone badly torpedoing themselves.

I'm too unco for that sort of carry on. Probably would have steamed right into the stage or something instead.
