Bloody hell. Time to change your names, Travers boys, before your next business venture? The NZ internet seems a small place, and an easy place to develop a bad reputation.

Cowboy work in general is bad enough, but on boats it's putting lives at risk.

Now selling bike lights.

Theirs look like MagicShines from Dealexreme, but 'are better'. Infact, they 'are better' than Lupine Teslas (German boutique with quality and price to match).

How are they better - well, they can't say - but they are!

So vorber russ reports he's pulled them apart along with the DX lites. Can't see any difference. Well apart from the price (approx twice the price for the nitelights ones).

Ah, but the nitelights website had stolen beamshots from MTBR on their website - ones of Lupine Better (arguably on of the most bright mtb lights on earth, certainly one of the most expensive).

Oh wailie wailue: - it wasn't us who pinched the photo - the factory gave it to us!

Steer clear of these guys, their products and the shonky ethics (or lack of them).

Znomit, I don't have any problem at all with flogging the lights for $NZ249.

My beef is:
1. Claiming they are better than MagicShine/DX - but not saying how (other than they come with an NZ certified charger).

2. Claiming they are an upgrade on the Lupine Tesla - again not being able to say how.

3. Using a stolen photo on his web site.

4. That photo was a misleading beam shot (From a Lupine Betty with about twice the light output).

Plus the apparent hassling of other TM sellers and the Comm Comm warning for attempted price fixing buy someone he claims is not associated (but appears to be his dad) doesn't help either...
