Re: Who Has My Manitou Shock???

Well well well. My bike is back - 5 months after all this started. Whoop whoop! :)

It is now fitted with a brand new Fox RP23 complements of Manitou!! Turns out Manitou couldn't replace with a shock of the size required, so contacted the Intense dealer in NZ (Blue Shark), who also happens to be the Fox dealer, and they did some kind of deal which got me a brand new RP23 for $250 which wasn't bad in my opinion.

So in a weird kind of way it has worked out for the best, but only after 5 months of pain and no mountain bike! So as we head into autumn I'll be hitting the trails for the first time this summer with my brand new, old bike.

I never thought such an impatient (read fast) rider could be so patient waiting

Can we lock this thread now please since it's been the most painful thread eva?

Yeh, rear shock. It's awesome!!!

Now my shock pump is busted (hose split). Anyone know how to get one of those replaced or do I have to buy a whole new pump?

So you paid them $50 a month to not be able to ride your bike before they did what they should have done in week 2 - and you think you got a good deal?

Get your pump repaired under warranty

You shouldn't have had to pay them a cent. Terrible deal.
