Who's Got A Play Boat They Don't Use?

Postby ultraslowrider on Wed 22/Sep/10 9:59am

Hey all,

My mate is looking to get into a bit of kayaking.
Running rapids, and park and play sort of stuff. He's totally new to play boating (with some kayak experience), and would like to get a cheap setup to get into it.
So who's got an old boat lying about that they want to sell? Must be in the north island for pickup, unless the seller's willing to drop it at a PBT depot or something similar.

I was thinking like a Blitz or something, but really just any cheap old boat will do to get into it!

He's probably 5'7" or 5'8" and maybe 80kg's or so.

Cheers

thanks for that, I'm already a member, and have had a sift through... but most in there seem to be selling RAD's and similar for around the 600ish mark for boat only... hardly a cheap entry level rig.
