Ha Ha, a comeback of sorts, yes, but not on the velodrome... I have some hills to climb instead.

Sooooo, that means I have a track bike for sale if anyone on this thread is wanting to ride this season:

Avanti Pista Pro Track Bike. Bottom bracket to seat post clamp = 53cm. Top tube centre to centre = 56cm. 7005 aluminium frame with Carbonio Pro carbon forks. DA22 Alexrims. Kaliente Pro track tyres - near new. Sella Italia saddle - almost brand new. Shimano pedals - almost brand new. FSA 165mm cranks. FSA 50T chainring. 15T sprocket. KMC track chain. 105mm stem.

Reasonably tidy condition. Handlebar tape has a small tear which has been taped up.

I am 176cm tall and it fits me really well.

Wanting $550.
Txt 0274571074 if you are keen :)
It is in ChCh

Been a bit windy lately! Thought we would try something a bit different :)

Well the track season kicked off yesterday at Denton. Was a bit windy but warm and from what I could see it was a good turnout.
My daughter certainly enjoyed herself ( as did I ) and looks like she is keen to give it a go for the season
Roll on Wednesday :)

Cheerz. It has been 25 + years since I rode track and all I remember was the pain and strangely enough how I enjoyed it :eh: :D
It is a great sport and I am glad one of my offspring has taken a shine to it :)
