oh im completly serious by the way. i won the rec xc last year by like 2 mins lol and it was only a 12min lap. hope lotsa people go! its great fun! will the track include the road gap this time? haha

Sport & expert laps take about 30min for an 'average person'

looks cool. What are the tracks like there up above the harbour? This is out on the peninsula there- is that right?

yea it's on Cape Wanbrow, in the pine plantation above the harbour.
They are simpe tracks mostly with just the needles swept back & then ridden in, which is quite refreshing when most tracks are almost highway's now.
The course is reasonably steep, both up & down, but none of it is unridable for the average rider.
It really is a fun circuit, & it's a layed back atmosphere at the race, so it's just a good fun race

The tracks are a bit of a workout. There are lots of short steep downs followed by short steep ups that end up being real killers.

I'll probably be there, but it depends how stuffed I am after riding at Naseby the day before
