Is that the one formally known as the Blue Duck? Now Gebbies Garden. - New owner seemed nice enough. Good coffee, the pie eaters in the group did comment how good the pies where.

Black Tulip it was when I was a kid... And so it will forever be. But yeah, new fangled Blue Duck for a time.

(Funny! My phone has learned that I'm far more likely to type fuck than duck - autocorrection ftw)

What happened?

Had to call a chopper for a young dude on saturday. Probably was going to be fine but had concussion and a sore back. Better safe than sorry. Emergency services are rad as hell. Probably spent the night for the concussion but hopefully he walked out sore but stoked sunday morning.

This doesn't sound like the same dude - broken ribs and mashed his helmet apparently. Saw the go-pro - epic...

Where did they crash?
Having ridden it, I can imagine the consequences when things go wrong.

Wonder if Blackhawk and his mates will share their video?

Took the adventure bike back down through the Christchurch Adventure Park at the weekend. Man it was fun through the banking. Hell lord sketchy trying to avoid hitting all the big rocks so as to not detonate the front end.

Wanted to knock out an Aoraki equivalent. Not quite up to an Everest yet...

A Semi-Everest is still a massive achievement. I can't get my head around doing a Duo-Pleasant let along a Deca!

My efforts yesterday totaled a huge 190 metres vertical

Thanks! The Aoraki equivalent has been on my mind for about 4 years now so I'm really stoked to be fit enough to tick it off with no dramas. Gotta be honest, it didn't exactly get me excited about pushing towards an Everest. I got really bloody sick of that hill

You say you wouldn't do a duo pleasant but the ride you posted before mine is the equivalent of at least three :)
