Had a bone dry day at Craigieburn... tracks were fast with grippy tree roots for a change.

Did the full circuit... hot climb up to the skifield, down 'the edge' and up to Lyndon saddle, down 'the luge', up the road a little way to Jacks saddle, warp nine down Draco' track, back up it then up the road to the right past the madmax gate and take the first road on the right passing below a bach with solar panels on the front, up the steep 4wd around to the little pines on the south face, jump the fence by a "T" carved on the post, then let rip down 2kms of DH track to the highway.
Then did a quick shuttle down 'ridge track' again, from the saddle like on the map below, wicked line that, deserves more traffic.

Urm... rode up Koru... dug a large humber of big holes.... including some strainer post holes in that nasty rock at the skills area.

Rode down Livewires then back home....

Gonna go to gym shortly... then back for some Bathurst.

XC downhill... but plenty of big bikes have been down the luge (bit of a push up). The track marked 'DH', which I call 'ridge track' is worth shuttling, has a short climb from the lookout saddle up to the summit, but the 2kms of riding takes long enough compared to the quick direct drive up to make it worth it. Has some jumps too and plenty of potential. I usually do a couple of quickys if driving back from a mission on the westcoast or something.

Went for a ride up Warfdale yesterday. There's a bit of mud around and a few trees down between the carpark and the saddle. We tried to go down the other side of the saddle but turned back after about 1.5km due to the track being very washed out and lots of fallen trees. We managed to move a bit of wood off the track but a chainsaw is needed to clean most of it up.

Yeah to be honest Craigieburn was the same, a lot of chainsaw and shovel work needed, been a really hard winter. I have this week off so might go up do some track luvin.

Government Track yesterday - a 2 hour uphill, then turn around and head back down for the downhill.

And Signal Hill and Bethunes Gully today. Signal looks really eery with all the burnt trees. My favourite lines look a lot different when the gorse and shrubbery are burnt on both sides of the track :(
