What's The Etiquette For Taking The Lollies On Airnz Flights

Postby dwgknz on Thu 27/Nov/14 8:02pm

Item 1. Why is Thread for general discussion locked?

Item 2. Whats the etiquette for taking the lollies on Air NZ flights? I grab a handful but feel I get judged because of it.

I usually grab a few for the kids. I spend a bunch of money with the airline, they can afford the candy.

I always grabbed a small handful, as above to give to the kids when I got home.

Perhaps it's not acceptable to take the airlines lollies but not consume them within the confines of their aeroplane.

Maybe lots of threads with a moderate number of comments are better for sponsorship stats than one mega thread?

I nominally do this for my niece and nephew, but normally end up eating them

if they had purple ones, i'd be all over them. so, resort to the red, and the yellow. usually feel bad taking a handful for the kids, so just take the two, and suck then crunch

and later regret the tooth decay i'm contributing to...

Correct.

My brother I flew back from aus on air nz and the lollies were fantastic. It's a taste time capsule from my youth when we flew from Hamilton to timaru to visit family. I was a bit disappointed they didn't let a kid walk down the aisle with the basket but that probably breaches labour or union rules now
