keep them on spindles Tama,I have about 350 cds,30 music dvds and around 100 movie dvds on spindles,no cases,no covers, thay all sit in the cupboard except for my fav 40 which are in a zippered case, the cd's are backed up on an exturnal drive along with some lime/frostwire rareities,so about 18 gigs worth so far, back in the mid 80's in england when we were all DJing and scratching on tecnics 1200's with crossfade GLI mixers(the best) and doing illegal warehouse jams(yup I is an O.G homeboy from way back)we had the meanest record collections,I had maybe 200 assorted albums and 12 inch singles, includeing rare 12 inch white label imports ($$$$$$) anyway some graf artist from oz (kyre 126)asshole,who was throwing down some pieces with us borrowed them to record onto cassette,we all got a beef for taggin a train in the yard and the mofacker skipped town back to oz.....................with my fackin records, hart broken dont compare to how I felt,I would do anything to have that vinyl hard feeling back in my hands,TAMA keep them for the fact that you have something pysical in your hands, and dont even worry about sound quality either, just hearing the melody is good enuff.

Also I still just don't get why you are all about buying music in digital format? Don't you get a kick outta buying something physical and reading the booklet and stuff? In saying that it's a bit of a pisser that fuckall albums these days have cool liner notes and stuff unless they are reissues of old albums or something...

I've found out about some cool bands from reading thanks lists and whatnot though.

I would agree but I too poor to buy wallets,If you were a cd geek you could spend hours of fun alphabetizing and then numberizing, then combinizing while swapping between 4 50cd capacity spindles and 1 100cd capacity spindle, then present your findings on calculus<>mc2.forums.numbass :p

Mine was similar, bloke who spent $20k a piece for the various vac amps, built the house around the room lined with odd shaped stuff. Spent over $120k on the other exotic items. I sit only acoustically permitted seat... He puts on Celine Dion- Think twice.

"The sound is not unlike firecrackers in a tin can combined with the dulcet tones of a malfunctioning video arcade sometimes accompanied with a big back beat like someone spanking a plastic rubbish bin with a mic inside. And let's not forget the endless sampled loops of meaningless vocals"
