If everything goes to plan we're going to do a section of Vorb TV on the new mountain bike riding police patrols in Nelson.

* get off bike, lock it safely, then give chase

* simply throw the bike at the perp, knocking him/her unconscious and easy to handcuff?

and hopefully a few other police branches will be taking notes, as bikes are more useful in certain situations and the experience that they gain will give them a direct in-sight into what a lot of bikers go through on the roads etc...
