I'm only speculating here, so bare with me, but perhaps your local honda shop could help? i know i know, sounds a bit silly.

Not necessarily DNA - I know a couple Honda shops where the techs are crap.

Oh, they could replace it alright - but you might need to get a complete rebuild at a later time because they screwed something :o

Maybe I am getting cynical in my old age, but I'm pretty sure I know mower mechanics with more skills than some guys I have seen in MC workshops

Which one was that charliehopkins? I used to use Sawyer, but Langlands has a great reputation.

I reckon you are hard pushed to beat Boyles on Adelaide Road. Back when I was into moto I used to use them for pretty much everything, they were much cheaper than places like Motorad / Sawyers / Wellington Mcyc, but the only real difference was a lack of pretty stuff hanging on shelves. Had them do all manner of work, and they came through every single time.

Shit, Boyles still there huh? I concur - they have been top notch for ummm, well, since I was a young lad.
