What Bike? Pretty Please

Postby Matt_the_jaffa on Sun 29/Jul/07 10:51pm

I am after something I can take to wood hill and thrash
and also commute on
CANNONDALE 700F
AVANTI ridge rider montari or barracuda

Hell I'd even try and old Klein Mantra so I don't get a sore bum

Call me a lunatic

I commute daily on a good ole Bauer Hard tail
which is actually an ok bike

Put the ole armadillos slicks on it and it does the trick

It's previous owner painted it with brown house paint
so it looks incredibly crap which is good because
even unlocked the other day no one stole it
un like previous bikes

Homeless people in Auckland will steal anything

I actually try and stay off main roads as much as possible
there is no waY Iwould commute on a road bike

NZ motorists transform from complete zombies to pyschopaths instantly
I plot my route through parks so I get and off road ride
through the domain one tree hill etc etc

Cycling is my salvation
