What Are The Best Dj Tires?

Postby kona.stinky. on Wed 1/Sep/10 7:48pm

Well, I'm looking at a dirt jump bike, but it has some maxxis minions on it for some reason, but I want something really fast rolling, a tire more suited for urban/street riding, would have to be 26 by 2.3, what do you guys recommend?

Kenda Small Block 8, Maxxis Crossmark (Fast rolling but still good for everything else, and light), I run a 2.1 Crossmark rear but a 2.25 Advantage front on my double because it makes it way more versatile.

I run 2.3 holy rollers - they grip pretty well, but are a little on the heavy side,
i also have Geax AKA's - they seem to work well on everything bar concrete, would be a good dj specific tyre.

quoted from their site they arent 2.3 but looking at the specs they are the best street tyre your gunna get not many 26" tyres go up to 120 psi...

bro this guy is a smart fulla. hookworms are your best bet if ur looking at street riding. they only come in 2.5 though which is a bit stink but on the upside they will be slicker than a slick thing. they will b superly extra awesomely fast rolling aswell. the hookworms are ur best bet

larsens are a good tire but are more used for 4x and are really thin. my m8 had some on his bike and they folded whenever he landed a drop
