Gidday

Well i managed to get stage 2 and part of The Third Place cleared of over growth last night, down as far as the Duck Pond. One more Monday night and I'll have it all done i reckon. The riders i saw out there were loving the riding on what are probably the only dry trails currently in Dunedin, other than Signal Hill?

This Sunday I'll be up putting the last of the stringers on the log/wallride stunt at the end of Green Mile. I'm hoping to start putting the decking down too. 'll put some pics up on Monday. i think it will take a couple of days to finish it then it's time to concentrate on the riding for a while.

Cheers

Hey G,

Awesome job you and the team are doing, I'd be keen to help out in a couple of weeks when I'm out of this cast. Pretty good with my hands so can just be the builders labourer/ handy??? Will follow this thread...

Mean thanks Em. help is always appreciated, there will be a lot of hammering to nail down all the decking. there's probably another day of getting the framing sorting so it'll be around the time you get sans cast.

Ah well then... little g it must be..

Since you're VP - you would know how I could help with Oceania organisation or is it more a MTBNZ thing? I'd imagine we would be involved to some extent though. I'm keen to help with stuff since I can't ride for 3 more weeks..

stink to have all that time off the bike.
Good on you... help is always needed and very appreciated in the lead/running and break down of events. Marshals are always needed, the more we have the more frequently people can be moved around.
do you have preference for XC or DH? If you want to pm your details i'll forward them to the volunteer organiser.

Hiya G

Us ladies went out on our weekly spin tonight and got a bit of a beating around the ankles by some wayward thistle on the Surge Tank Track. I'm think of borrowing Dad's lopers and giving it a bit of loving this weekend.. what do you reckon?
