Hey any of you guys been working on that DH run just up past the dog pound? I'm been making a few tweaks to that rythm section at the top. The idea is to be able to link up those whoops and to hold the speed right the way through. Will be heading up this avro with my spade.

btw. day of defeat is better.

Uh what rhythm section is that dude??....you talking about the jumps at the top of the motorway ? they are getting changed at some stage From the mergeing of the chute track al the way thru to the tuna tails exit is getting a big revamp?? so you can change that if you like. If you talking about the small outside dirtjump line probably try and talk to Lankyguy (Harley) as he is working on that part now...:Let me know??

Awesome build today, got the ryts removed from the hill and have dug the berm out more has made the section way faster thru to the drop, still looking at making it more smooth and steeper thru the berm but otherwise ....

Nah nah I dont think thats the trail Im thinking of. If your walking up the road past the dog pound its off to the right hand side. Some dude I got talking to to on a Stab supreme said it was the secondary schools downhill run or something. And the section I am talking about wasnt really a rhythm section, more like a bunch of whoops spaced out too far apart on a slight up hill. Im just trying to shape them up so you hold your speed through them and idealy make it so you can either jump or manual them.

Also want to clean up the lower part of the course to as its rutted out super bad

Some good work you guys are doing there, lots of potential for sure in them there hills, what are the DJ's you speak of? I rode parihaki the other week and found a DJish 4 pack after a little step down at the end of one of the trails, then found a larger lone DJ that runs into what seems to be the largest berm I have ever seen.
And out of curiosity, What is the plan with the huge launch that appears to be set up to land on the back of the super-berm, If that transition gets groomed I would definately bust out the full face and give it a fang, dont know how much speed you'd need though, looks like you'd want to hit it at atleast 50kph, tow in maybe?

Heh

Yeah the DJ's are the ones that you saw at the stepdown, these are the original set of DJ's that were built, the large DJ was another set that got built a while back the big gap would need a tow in and the run out is a bit rogue too needs clearing a bit id say, Yeah not many builders up there now bout 4 or 5 people on and off, Sorin and i are there pretty much every weekend on a sunday, and i try to get in any additional time i can whenever, Like my birthday in Dec get the day off and pull an all dayer up there :D .

Plenty more trails to come in there yet i have just found another the other day which should be pretty much a slash and clear and then its ready to ride with a bit of grooming. Over the next couple of weeks i getting a plan drawn up of 4 traisl i have planned to send to the council for approval  hopefully get sorted and ready for start of building in next winter

Looking at your profile i see your a sparky too Who you work for, you up here ??
