Build today, wet as, just gonna head up with the slasher prob round 1pm... look at clearing round the chute (ready for spray) and clearing some more of the North Shore area.!!

YES.. dry weather.. Spray packs at the ready.. round 1pm tomorrow.. Chute and Northshore areas...!!!!!!!

(Good build today, managed to get 7 or 8 packs down all around the chute and motorway and also a bit of Black track and the start of vendetta... hit the trails, all quite dry but with a hint of damp...!!! )

Build on Sunday, will look towards more spraying prob around Ressa and R2... got a spare pack too...!!! round 1pm.. probably park in the carpark..!

(Well rain stayed away, so got some spray down, 1 pack onto Ressa, 1 on Lower taniwha and 1 pack up around the exit of Motorway and Tuna's tail... also spotted some guys from Kaikohe down to have a blatt around, good to see you fella's out enjoying the trails...)

On a boat cruise for the next couple of days, Build will be on Monday.... Northland Anniversary ...WOOT

Build was good, i got some more spray down , most of Black Track now done, Shaun started a bit of a tidy up on the first jumps along Lower taniwha

Build this weekend, should be fine again so gonna hammer the spraying, will finish Lower Taniwha, and get some more done on Ressa, also hit the cleared areas on R2, will also look to clip the pines around the Roller Coaster, the drop one got hit and left to die, will look at getting it stabilized... don't want to lose those 2 trees..!!! round 1pm, and from next weekend i will be going back to 3pm Saturday builds as the loggers have gone for now..!

Hey you guys, I spent a couple of hours today riding on the mountain, and it was really good, had lots of fun and it is starting to look really good, keep up the good work. In a few years it will have canopied and start to look like it did in 2005.
It would be helpful to have some signage at the start of the trails at car park, and The McKenzie was a little hard to ride, just at the start.

You sneaky bastard, i will be up there tonight round quarter past 7 to drop off some carpet, yeah its coming along, as you can see we are laying the spray down, yeah the signage is mostly on the DH/Freeride trails atm.. the XC guys are in charge of the other trails, YEah if you went down Lower Taniwha thats probably the best tree cover we have so far, its awesome rippin thru there .. Glad you enjoyed it.. How was Tuna's Tail for ya..?

Builds going back to Saturday for a while, 3pm, will be spraying around motorway and some building might also go up Upper Tani and spray there, will depend on weather..!



Good build today, cleared the mess at the end of Lower Taniwha, then went up to scout around Upper Taniwha, that areas not too bad got some slashing done and some spray down, This area and Ressa are the next to be hit then thats most of the spraying done and dusted, so if anybody is keen to help out and has a 15Lbackpack sprayer just rock on up and we can get it done..!!!

Good build yesterday got heaps more of Ressurection sprayed, Good catchup with Matt, did a bit of shaping and drain clearing on the track... then had a bit of a ride, track was pretty good after the rain..! Also layed down the law to some guys up there with a Motorbike..

Build today up Ressa from the carpark do a bit of slashing, clear the overhanging gorse and get some more spray down hopefully..!!! 3PM

Finally all of ressurection is sprayed, there is still overgrowth but 2-3 weeks it will all be down, did a run down The Chute-Tuna's Tail- Coaster-Lower Taniwha, wow gotta say that was the fastest i have ever been, and jumping down the chute.. goddam what a rush..!

Build this weekend will be around R2.. looking to clear the rest of it ready for spray .. 3pm.. will park in carpark..!


Good build yesterday, got R2 cut down from the berm to the exit, get it cleared next weekend and get it sprayed then clear the top and she will be back in action..!

Build tomorrow @ 1pm , Up around R2 Entry, gonna clear the entry and surrounding area, and hopefully the new section for the Xc track diversion..!


Good build, got the top end of R2 mostly cut out, nearly cleared to the entry, will look to finish this and clear it next Monday, (No build on Saturday), then will look into getting it sprayed and cleared somemore..!!!

Build on Sunday this weekend, around 1pm.. up on R2, missed out on 6 hrs on Monday due to my back being out..


Top build today got the rest of R2 cut out and ready for clearing, also cut a new line to divert the XC track away from Resurrection, then had a couple of runs on the Chute and Tunas Tail tack was wet but pretty good apart from the sections of track that have been cut up by someone, ( Please don't do Track Maintenance without prior arrangement all you have done/do is make the track worse not better)
