Checked out how the berms held up on LRRH after "Dusk 2 Dawn" race, very happy with result.
Other than that have done some general maintenance on Corners and LRRH. I have also been out surveying DoC land for potential trail sites, keep checking back for updates...

It's been cold, but it's been fantastic digging weather. Winter has been kind to us with a run of very dry weather.

Just a word of warning to all, on rollercoaster there is a fast right hand corner followed by a big rock that had developed a line straight over it, someone has dug this line out entirely so now there is just a big exposed rock to hit. Both me and my mate almost ate it yesterday as we followed the same line we'd followed for years only to find it gone... Not sure how long ago this happened as I hadn't ridden out there for a while, but thought I'd warn people. The trails are running mint at the mo - cheers for all the hard work guys, the single speed was loving it.

Unless anyone has worked on that rock very recently, in last 2 weeks or so. I think that hole has been caused by erosion over time. It is possible to ride through the hole on the left of the rock, it is a little sketchy, but fun if you get it right, glad you only "almost ate it".

Ah, I suppose that makes sense. It never really was all that solid. I didn't investigate it at all, just yelled in suprise and carried on. A line to the left sounds interesting, there didn't look to be much space but I'll have to check it out next time.

More work on alternate line on LRRH, photos are terrible as it was raining with poor light. I'll try and get some better ones...

PLEASE don't do anything to the rock in roller coaster mentioned above. It's mint, if you almost ate it you are riding it wrong .... Change the way you ride it.
