Whaka 100

Postby NDuroEvents on Mon 29/Mar/10 8:15pm

The Big One. 100km of riding over a course that is predominantly single track. There is nothing else like it in New Zealand. Now in its fourth year we have slightly reformatted the event for 2010. Three courses will be offered: 25km, 50km and 100km. Plus a teams event with a 60km/40km split.

Regardless of what course you decide to race one thing is guaranteed: you will be racing in the best mountain bike venue in New Zealand. Forest roads, views and sweet single track set this event off from anything else on the race calendar.

If you're busting out the CX bike... 1) you will bee too scared to take your hands off the bars
2) by the time you're thirsty both bottles will have bounced out of the cages and been long gone. :)

Just been for a sift in Vegas this morning, trails are freaking minta.
Looks like the rain may have been downgraded for tomorrow, hopefully it won't get too wet for y'all.

Just reading the Herald and there's a HUGE article and almost full page photo of Cabin rocking a trisuit.

When did mtb become mainstream (again)

Texts from Vegas had Ed leading from Cabin, then T-Rex and followed by hardouts like Gav, Hippy Revell etc.

Poor Al Crossling took a tumble which finished his day :( , but he is OK.
