Nice one Lisa! I was driving through when they were doing the Takaka hill climb and I stopped for a while by the road in the hope of giving you a cheer, but there was such a big gap between riders I figured it could take forever, so I scared some randoms by cheering for them and then carried on. I was thinkin of you though! :thumbsup:

Yeah, 73/74 riders at 1 minute intervals, and it was stage 1 so unseeded - had the potential to take a very long time.

My sister in laws sister did too, Sue Torstonson, but she is just standing, not riding (blue top int he line of four or five, one of the first few photos.

It was her first time and she wasnt sure if she was ready but her coach suggested she give it a go.
