Ta!

Not a huge improvement, but significantly quicker than previous best since my crash, and I'm in the mood to cling to positives.

Also the strong NW ruled.

Good scheme. I think you'll find every time in that top 10 would have been during a stonking Northerly ;)

In lieu of a windless day, a Northerly will do, that's for sure. From memory my better times have been set in almost zero wind, on hot afternoons. But I'm not on the leaderboard, so there you go :D

I guess I should try it in zero-wind conditions. The Northerly does come back at you for that one stretch when the road turns toward Ohariu, but it always seemed worth it given the heavy assist it gives you down the bottom.

So two churches? The most southern one has a power pole with some white paint on the lower half of one side just past the community hall, is that the one?

I managed an 8:14 this arvo. A favourable wind, and a bit more strength and I might manage to give my PB an nudge some time...

Warm still conditions last night helped me slightly lower my time :) but no movement on the board :(

I'm sure XCrazy would happily concede priority of the shared spot for alphabetical and aerodynamic reasons ;)

Have to come for a ride out there with you Flynnster. You can pop down to the coffee shop and pick me up a fresh brew while you wait for me to grovel to the top.
