Damn, I'm pooped! I look forward to finally recovering from the last few days, at which time I expect to find I got a bit stronger... It was intense out there...

I don't know if that was standard pace for those boys, but damn, it had me struggling for just about all of it!

pace = brutal. was same through the PNP series, great fun..

main reason why I have been pushing more riders to attack at worlds, as it is the constant attacking that wears you down.

Hey Adrian, your t-shirt gave me the giggles and took my mind off Kourarau. (It had DIRK HOFFMAN MOTORHOMES printed on it)

AWESOME! I noticed that too, but the interim tiredness had made me forget it! :)

Interesting how many people corner on their hoods. I always feel like I have much more braking and steering control when on the drops.

Disappointing news this morning that the Kapiti Cycle Challenge, which was supposed to run in a couple of weeks, has been cancelled due to high traffic management costs and a lack of entries.

Apparently only tracking to get around 200 entries and need 300 to break even.

Was going to be my comeback to organized cycling after a 5 year hiatus and I was looking forward to using it as a gauge as to whether or not I've got the bike fitness to ride this years Easter Tour.

After last year's crash fest I'm not surprised.

There's still plenty of racing leading up to Easter. PNP club race up blue mountains this weekend; one in Palmy the weekend after Kapiti.
