Wanted - 1" Threaded Road Fork For Restoration

Postby peterjdaly on Fri 27/Apr/12 9:21pm

Need a 1" road fork for a classic restoration I'm doing.

Chromed would be best, though any steel example considered.

Carbon as a last resort, but that doesn't really match the bike.

Thanks all.

What length? Carefully measuring the steerer of the fork that came out is easiest, if you will be using the same headset. Note if there is a removable spacer.

Failing that measure the height of the head tube accurately, not including the headset.
The stack height of threadless headsets runs from roughly 30 to 45mm from memory, there are tables for looking them up.

What is the frame it is going on? If you don't know we can maybe ID it from a photo.
