Job Role: Mechanic, Proshop Supervisor, Customer Service Supervisor.
You will need to be sharp, smart, have big goals and standards, able to be your own boss and thrive at it, use a great deal of initiative, be good on the computer and be very very good at fixing customers bikes. You need to be super friendly, extra hard working, ready to see just how good it is to work here. Dont apply if you are a dumbass, lazy, slacker, or someone who just wants to cruise. It is not a cruisy job but there is plenty of fun and riding to be be had all the same.
It will suit someone who has had experience at retail supervision in a bike shop. You will need to plan and execute promotional days in the shop and the park. You will need to delegate and manage staff, you will need to be on the ball in general.

That's about right for the cycling industry. I was in a similar position 8 years ago for $12 per hour and had been working for 5 years. I believe that an experienced person in a role like this could currently ask for $18 per hour. Unfortunately the streets aren't paved with gold
