Wanganui Grand Prix

Postby Tugboat on Sat 4/Sep/10 12:09pm

Great day for racing here in Wanganui.

Paul Lundon (PNP) took out the C grade race in a small closely fought bunch sprint.

I forgot about the racing in town today, just thought all the riders I was seeing were making the most of the beautiful blue sky day. Bring on the summer.

Joe Cooper (Subway-Avanti) went clear with just over a lap to go to take A grade solo. A fine win!!

Don't know his name but the B grade winner threw down a nice sprint to take it out.

Now that I get a good look at the photos ( not on the back of the camera or on iPad) yes that is Joe Cooper not Ryan Wills, which was my first call when looking through the lens. I was thrown by a couple of the officials around me saying it was Ryan!
