To celebrate the end of my report writing weekend from hell and the impending end of term I will be digging on Tuesday.

You are all cordially (sp?) invited to join me for a little work on the 'easi-climb bypass' around the grassy old road section.

Bring party hats nad the usual killer jokes...

6pm at Life city church

My no is 021 29 24 880 if you miss the sound of my voice (or want to abuse me..)

Well, that was an excellent turnout for a Tuesday and good progress was made.

Hopefully we will get similar numbers on Thursday. Planning to work on the new section lower down so meet at the car park at 6pm or walk up if you come later.

Ok, Dave Blake and Neil Hickford are leading a dig tommorow and will need your support.

We have crafted a stunning switchback in the evenings this week and now need help to complete a second.

Switchbacks are cool to ride but take a fair bit of man power / Sculpting to get them so they ride really sweet.

Would also be good if people could bring up bikes for some test driving!!

I am away for a tramp / hunt this weekend with a mate but will be back on the job Tuesday night..

Meet 9am at Church..

Have fun...

Thanks for your support - the boys could definatly do with some support Saturday morning.

Thanks - Tryfan.

Grumpy,

You don't need to sneak around the trails, everybody is allowed on them :) Or did your boss think you were still working :sneaky:

As for feeling guilty for not turning up to a trail building session, I'll let you off because you organised such good rides :D

mmm, awesome views now of the flowering kamahi trees on the slopes ahead of you as you go up the last section before the switchbacks... they have pinky white flowers... and are pretty special here being at low altitude, and important to local iwi as they are the cloak of Towai (te maunga) nearby...
