A lovely morning spent out in the bush! Good to get back into it too - been a while since I've made a dig!! :) Can't wait to get back with my bike and try out the newly refurbished corners!

Upcoming Digs:

1. Neils Tuesday night trail loving starts back up after the Christmas break this week.
Watch this thread for details: wtp-summer-time-tuesday-night-digs-t92519.html

2. This coming Sunday the 15th of February marks the first dig for our new downhill project, Snail trail.
Snail Trail is to be an easy XC style downhill track, filling the gap between the River Trail and our harder downhill tracks. The track will start just above the start of Labyrinth.

Discussion here: wtp-new-downhill-project-snail-trail-t92514.html

Meeting at the top of the Wainui hill at 10:00am, of if you're later mosey on up Labyrinth.

I stopped attending WTP digs due to their excessive popularity and resultant crowds - I understand #'s are generally down now though. Where are we and when?

I couldn't help myself, I was up there tonight and happened to have a mattock with me so I just had to dig :0

I left the corner for you guys to sort out, but managed to find a bit of rock to whack...

For those turning up tomorrow night, meet at the top gate at 6 or come along to the new track..

That new track is under construction and is known as Snail trail at the moment. It hopefully will be a begineer friendly downhill direction track that will end at the far end of the wetland on the vally floor. The next dig on it is on Sunday the 1st of March at 10am, if you want to come along you know where to find us.
