You of all people know how many XC diggers there are...
theres actaully quite a few for trails, but none of those pansy racers will dig.
theres actually more than there are DH diggers Bugle. And lets face it, a large amount of the DH diggers are groms and don't have there own travel

The forecast is for binloads of rain......but ASDF is aiming to be there if it's dryish.

Are there any more spare picks floating about? Otherwise gotta go score me one tomorrow - or am I better off getting a grubber?

"It doesn't matter which, take your pick" would be a smartarsed reply!

Rain!!

Well not the best weather in the valley this morning but well if people are frothing at the mouth with excitment and want to put in a few metres then let me know.

I have about 8 mattocks (like a pick but better) that ground effect have provided.

All people need bring is warm clothes, gloves a waterproof and due to weather bucket loads of positive energy and good humour!!

(I will not be offended if no one fronts up at 5pm by the church - weather is pretty foul!!)

Forget it for tonight - Next Tuesday 5pm Life City Church.

Right on cue another batch of utterly crap weather batters the region...

For those that love digging in the rain - 5pm tomorow (Tuesday) at life city Church at the bottom of the hill.

Fingers crossed for better weather!

Please give me some idea of who will be there if the rain holds off.

Come one come all..

Next Dig - Saturday 9am - bring gloves, picks, sun hats and a good sing while you work - "I am loving this" attitude..

Any takers - you have to admit you are curious..!?

I took 5/32ths of a day annual leave yesterday and blatted around Makara Peak.....Doug from Mud Cycles was there working on the tracks (in the hail) - I swear the dude never goes home: Inspired, I have been........At the Wainui track this Saturday, I will be.....Two questions though:

(1) Are you meeting at the church place or on the trail (I am clueless as to trail location)?
(2) You still got those Ground Effect mattocks? Don't wanna buy if I don't need to.

Alarm clock on a Saturday morning for possibly the first time ever.....30+ minute drive to get there - no sign of anyone. Another dude turns up with his kid - he's clueless like me. We wait....go looking for the track....ask locals, no joy....back to church.....nup. Off we trundle - wtf? :eh: In hindsight I should have got a mobile number......

ASDF is still keen - maybe try again if you're at it next Saturday.

Not trying to be to rude or anything but why would you put tracks in Wainuiomata its such a hole! Why not just build more tracks by maidstone or something?
